Tulsi Gabbard is Manifestly Unfit to Lead DNI

Gabbard Involved in Anti-Gay, Toenail Eating, Pyramid Scheme Cult

Donald Trump has nominated a motley crew of misfits to lead America’s cabinet agencies. They are shockingly unqualified, bereft of morality and most notable for their wanton cruelty. In this lineup of losers, Two-Faced Tulsi Gabbard stands alone as a unique threat to the republic. If confirmed this week to head 18 spy agencies as Director of National Intelligence (DNI), America will be catastrophically weakened and our national security in grave danger.

If Gabbard prevails, it’s questionable whether America should still be considered a superpower. When taken together with the outrageous confirmation of unqualified and drunken Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, it’s fair to say the U.S. security apparatus has been irreparably degraded.

There would be no greater Chinese New Year gift to President Xi than the confirmation of these two calamitous clowns. In the Year of the Snake, the incompetent Hegseth and Gabbard have slithered their way into leading our most vital cabinet agencies and America will suffer the global consequences.

Ironically, as Donald Trump is ordering local schools to teach Orwellian “patriotic education”, he is heavily promoting Gabbard’s unpatriotic nomination. Two-Faced Tulsi is faster than Flash Gordon at “blaming America first” and enthusiastically parrots Putin’s talking points at every opportunity. This includes bizarrely holding the United States and NATO fully responsible for Russia’s murderous rampage through Ukraine. She reportedly gets her information from RT [Russia Today], which the United States has deemed a Russian state propaganda “news” outlet.

Gabbard had met with the homicidal Bashar al-Assad and heaped praise on Syria’s deposed strongman, who previously gassed his own people. New York University professor and historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat wrote:

Her apparent affinity for the virulent strain of Hindu nationalism that has fueled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assaults on Indian democracy, her off-the-books meeting with then-President Bashar al-Assad of Syria in 2017 and her repetition of Russian and Syrian government propaganda immediately raised alarms about her judgment and suitability for the job when Mr. Trump announced his choice in November.

Since then, nearly 100 former U.S. diplomatic, intelligence and national security officials have signed an open letter accusing Ms. Gabbard of having a “sympathy for dictators,” among many other worrying allegations.

Sounds like a real winner, no?

Gabbard is imminently qualified to lead Putin’s FSB, but certainly not the CIA and other national security agencies. What sane American ally is going to share Top Secret intelligence, including life-saving counterterrorism information with the United States, knowing there is a likely Russian mole at the helm?

Equally concerning is Gabbard’s personal life. She belongs to a virulently homophobic Hawaiian cult. The creepy sect, Science of Identity, masquerades as Hindu, but it’s arguably just a criminal pyramid scheme designed to enrich Chris Butler, its God-like leader.

The Wall Street Journal published a blockbuster article this week that revealed, “some adherents mixed Butler’s toenail clippings into their meals…as a sign of devotion. Others used his shoes as prayer totems.”

Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee Tim Walz was correct: These right-wing conservatives are FUCKING WEIRD. The Wall Street Journal found:

Butler, the sect’s leader, enforces a rigid hierarchy among followers, who are assigned a letter grade. A small number of people who work directly for Butler are designated with the letter A. They are the only followers allowed close physical proximity to Butler or to anything he touches, two former disciples said.

“It’s a cult,” said Lalita Mann, a former follower. “You’ve got a charismatic leader who is seen as a messiah figure…the only pathway to salvation.

Followers who attain a certain status in the group are initiated in a ceremony and given a new name, former disciples said. At least four former adherents said they believe that Gabbard was initiated and received the name Shraddha Dasi.

Obviously, this cult is unhelpful for elevating Shraddha Dasi’s, eh, Gabbard’s political career. So, she hired a public relations outfit to obscure her ties, as well as the cult’s connection to an international marketing pyramid scheme. The Journal found:

To defend and burnish Tulsi Gabbard’s image as her political star was rising, her congressional campaign hired a public-affairs firm in 2017 that tried to suppress coverage of an alleged pyramid scheme connected to her Hindu sect, according to interviews, emails and Federal Election Commission records.

Science of Identity Foundation, a sect tied to a direct-marketing firm accused of running a pyramid scheme in several countries. Neither Gabbard, the sect nor the firm, QI Group, wanted the relationships scrutinized.

Gabbard’s campaign paid Washington, D.C.,-based Potomac Square Group for the PR cleanup, trying to mask the connections. But the operation was directed by a Science of Identity follower—and longtime Gabbard adviser—who sits on the board of a QI subsidiary.

The revelations shed further light on Gabbard’s ties to the religious group—publicly described by some former followers as a cult that demands total loyalty to its founder—and to the Hong Kong-based QI, which has been a target of criminal and civil cases alleging fraud and racketeering in at least seven countries.

Given Gabbard’s noted Putin fetish, one wonders whether Science of Identity, a global sect, also has business interests in Mother Russia. Hopefully, senators can ask her about this potential conflict of interest and how it would impact her decisions if she led DNI.

Two-Faced Tulsi is an unmitigated disaster who would strategically sabotage U.S. national security. Tragically, don’t expect Republican Senators to put America First and reject Gabbard. How could we expect them to rebuff a dangerous cult member when virtually all of them are loyal adherents to the cult of MAGA? If Donald Trump asked them to eat his orange toenails, senators like Lindsey Graham, Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz, would be lining up with hot plates begging for seconds.
